This Privacy Policy explains how Veleros Marbella ("we") processes personal data in connection with this website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data (LOPDGDD).

1. Data controller

2. We do not run contact forms

This website does not include a contact form, a newsletter sign-up, or a customer account area. We do not collect personal data directly on this site beyond what is described in the cookies section below.

You can reach us in two ways:

  • WhatsApp — when you message us at +34 605 67 89 31, your phone number, name (if shared) and the content of the messages are processed by us and by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., the operator of WhatsApp, under WhatsApp's own privacy terms. We use these messages only to answer your questions and, if you book, to coordinate the trip.
  • Booking provider (Regiondo) — when you book a trip, the booking flow is handled by Regiondo GmbH (Munich, Germany), which acts as our processor. Regiondo collects the information needed to confirm and operate the booking (name, email, phone, number of guests, payment data) and shares the booking record with us so we can deliver the experience. Payment data is handled by Regiondo and its payment partners; we do not see or store card details.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Answering enquiries via WhatsApp — legal basis: your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR, steps prior to a contract; or 6.1.f, our legitimate interest in replying to you).
  • Managing bookings via Regiondo — legal basis: performance of the contract for the sailing trip (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Legal and tax obligations — legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
  • Analytics cookies — legal basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you give or refuse through the cookie banner.

4. Recipients

Your data may be shared with: our booking provider Regiondo GmbH; Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (WhatsApp); our hosting and analytics providers (only if you accept analytics cookies); and public authorities when required by law.

5. International transfers

Some processors (including WhatsApp) may transfer data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. Retention

We keep booking records for as long as needed to operate the trip and to meet our accounting and tax obligations under Spanish law (generally up to 6 years). WhatsApp conversations are kept as long as needed to handle your enquiry and then deleted on request.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can also withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. To exercise these rights, contact [to be completed].
